INFRASTRUCTURE -

The main campus of Gomel State Medical University is located in downtown Gomel, with 18 adjacent clinical sites spread across the city. The university has a large clinical base which is one of the best in Belarus. The clinical base is well equipped where the advanced medical technologies on diagnostic and treatment of endocrinology, cardiology, immunology, ophthalmologic, oncologic and other diseases are applied.

LIBRARY

More than 70,000 highly scientific literature is available for students at the electronic library and the literature is available in foreign languages also.Students can access a collection of ebooks and a variety of journals, newsletters, ebooks etc. for free. In the whole country, it is one of the best e-library.

MEMBERSHIP

International cooperation in science and education is one of the priorities of the University. BSMU is an Associate Member of the International Association of University Alumni, the International Association of Higher Medical Education Graduates, the Association of Medical Schools of Europe (AMSE); it works in collaboration with WHO, the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA), participates in numerous international research programs and projects (TEMPUS, TASIS and others).

INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION

The institute cooperates with educational and research medical centres on problems of medical staff preparation, medical research, organization of medical aid with leading universities of Russia, Ukraine, Sweden, Scotland, France, Germany, Poland, Japan. During its existence, the faculty has trained more than 400 foreign experts from 30 countries. Currently, medical faculty of GSMU trains more than 500 students from 36 countries: India, Syria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Yemen, Lebanon, the United States, Britain, France, Peru, Nigeria, and others.

MBBS Admission Eligibility Criteria for Indian students:

1. The application should be at least 17 and maximum 25 years old on or before 31st December of the admission year.
2. The applicant has passed Class 12th with PCB and English subjects from a board recognised by the authorities in India.
3. The applicant should have secured a minimum of 50% in PCB in 10+2.
4. The applicant should have a qualified NEET Exam.
