• The university has 70 departments and more than 600 qualified educational workers. With 7 faculties, PRMU enrols approximately 3000 students per year.
• In 1992, PRMU initiated the faculty of overseas admission to encourage education for international students. Admissions are allowed for students in different countries including Malaysia, India, Sri-Lanka, Jordan, Syria, Morocco etc.
• More than 600 students from foreign countries participate in educational programs and certified courses at the university. The international students may study MBBS in complete English medium, however, Russian language is taught with which they can communicate with local population and patients during clinical training.
• The hostels at the university campus is equipped with canteens and café offering different cuisines. Sporting facilities are in place that include gym, football and other outdoor games.

Privolzhsky Research Medical University provides postgraduate courses in a variety of medicine sciences including Pediatrics, Orthodontics, Microbiology, Neurology, Hygiene etc. Clinical training is offered to the students where they participate in meeting patients and practice at private and government hospitals in Russia.
